I am absolutely in love with Standard Oil Coffee Company. It’s located right inside the historic Hotel St. Cloud building, and they did such an amazing job keeping that vintage charm with the brick walls and beautiful bar setup. The vibe is so unique, relaxed, and welcoming.

I got an iced latte and a breakfast sandwich, and both were top-tier. The espresso is super rich and smooth, and the food was incredibly fresh. The staff was also exceptionally friendly and happy to chat about the history of the building. It’s easily the coolest coffee shop in town and a total must-visit in Cañon City!

Cutest coffee shop. The staff was so sweet & I loved my vanilla matcha latte so much I went back the next morning for another! Love the simple, clean decoration and how they offer table top games and even outdoor space to play lawn games or sit in the sun. Definitely worth a stop while in Canon City!

The Standard Oil Coffee in Cañon City is such a gem! The matcha was absolutely divine! It was perfectly balanced, smooth, and clearly made with care. The pastries were just as impressive: fresh, delicious, and beautifully crafted. The space itself has such a creative, artsy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile and soak it all in. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the drinks and the experience. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in Cañon City!
